Be sure to drink plenty of water while consuming additional protein. Eight glasses of water per day is the minimum to eliminate fatty acids from the blood that are likely to be present while fat stores are being eliminated. While these fatty acids (ketones) are not likely to be harmful, it is better to eliminate impurities and much healthier for the liver. Fresh lemon juice added to each glass of water can give weight loss an added boost of a pound a week by eliminating excess toxins present in the body as well. Water will also prevent the body from retaining fluids that tend to cause bloating and make us feel uncomfortable. It is best to consult your physician before making any drastic lifestyle change.
