Bacteria And Algae Control: RV's, Freshwater Yachts And Houseboats

Since 1999 MCI, Bluebird Coaches and other Recreational Vehicles (RVs) have been installed with electronic Point-of-Entry water purification equipment originally designed for homes on well water that use copper ionization and titanium oxygenation to ensure owners the ability to have and the ECO-friendly assurance of safe and clean travel water. This technology of chemical free water purification has given RV travelers both on land and in the water the security and freedom of safe travel water with bacteria control that keeps their water clean and makes it usable without the use of salt or chlorine.

By using a technology first developed for the Apollo Space Program's 3 week mission to the moon nearly 50 luxury yachts and recreational vehicle owners treat whatever source water is available to them and also control bacteria and mold in their holding tanks. They are able to refill their water storage tanks with low quality raw water and filter it into safe clean quality water through a customized well water system as they travel across America. The copper ionization put into the water by the Point-of-Entry System maintains a residual bacteria control. Over forty SkipperLiner freshwater luxury yachts obtain identical benefits with systems installed that pull drinking and shower water from Lake Havasu, Lake Shasta and the Mississippi river. Natural oxygen and copper ionization keeps their water fresh and crisp for weeks whether on land in an RV or on the water in a yacht.

"Wherever the water source is, the system not only purifies the source water but prevents bacteria and mold growth in the holding tanks."

In addition to Mississippi river water, regular source water is pulled from both Lake Havasu and Lake Shasta as part of the SkipperLiner yachts factory installed water treatment system. Wisconsin based SkipperLiner has been installing ionization and oxygenation well water systems as an option since 1999 and their AZ and NV sales offices have retrofitted numerous customers as well. Houseboats do well with these systems and are a growing lifestyle choice.

Digital photographs are used to easily configure tanks for RV travelers which can be as short as 30 inches high and 24 inches wide. Fill up still occurs with a simple garden hose style fitting and generally the holding tank configurations and base plumbing remain the same. There is a network over all 50 states of nearly 1,000 mechanics that can be retained to change out filter tanks which usually needs to be done every 2 to 3 years.

Whether filling up at a mountain campground or with chemical laden city water, oxygenation allows the heavy metals in the water to be filtered and the ionization controls bacteria and mold growth in the holding tanks as you travel through the desert.

By incorporating zero salt and zero chlorine water treatment technology into conventional whole house water systems as well as into RV and yacht systems ECOsmarte remains the world leader in chemical free water treatment technologies. Using NASA inspired technology with a low operating cost ECOsmarte keeps both controlling bacteria and fighting mold growth simple and cost effective. With a large and always growing number of certified water treatment dealers installing and servicing these systems throughout North America it has never been as easy to go chemical free.

Larry Couture is the Founder and CEO of ECOsmarte. ECOsmarte is the World leader in Chemical Free Water Technology. ECOsmarte's RV and yacht systems with Residual Bacteria Control have roots in NASA.
