What Makes Organic Seeds So Important?

With organic seeds, you can grow organic food. Organic food has incredible levels of nutrition that supports the human immune system. A fully functioning immune system can prevent every illness known to humanity. There are many documented cases of people who were extremely ill, and even expected to die, who started eating organic food, and were able to fully recover to fantastic health.

It may not always be as big, or even look as shiny as some non-organic food, but when it comes to taste, there is no competition whatsoever. Some people who have never had organic food, are shocked when they get their first taste. It's amazing that it can taste that much better and be that much better for you.

What does the term, organically grown food, really mean? For one thing, the fruit or vegetable wasn't grown with the use of any pesticides whatsoever. That means you are not eating any poison when you eat organic food. The soil is in better condition as well. And, the seeds came from organic food.

What if you begin with organic seeds, but you do not follow through with organic cultivation? Is the food still organic? No, you can never have organic food if you use pesticides and bad topsoil, even if the seeds themselves were organic. And it works the other way around, as well. If you take conventional seeds and cultivate them in an organic environment, the food is not organic.

Yes, the food would be better for you than eating food with poison all through it, but the taste would not be as good, and the nutritional value would would not compare, either. It is almost like if you had a mutt and mated it with a pure breed dog. The puppies would not be pure breeds.

Many people are surprised to learn you do not have to use toxic insecticides to grow food. Organic farming or gardening uses biological pest control. You would maintain a steady presence of natural enemies of the pests that would harm your crop. It might be lady beetles, lacewings, or it could entail having bird houses and feeders all around.

Of all the wonderful qualities to organic seeds, the best one might be the fact that they are not genetically modified organisms, GMOs. GM food was wrongly allowed to be marketed in the United States by the FDA, (Food & Drug Administration.) If it had the years of scrutiny that should have been required, the results would have been to never allow it. The only way to avoid the harm from GMOs is to go completely organic.
