With the recent release of Final fantasy 14 (ff14) a considerable number of gamers are looking for help in opening the journey across Eorzea a result of the fairly steep learning curve of FF14. In this article we want to cover a few of the basics while providing information on what to look for in a first-class Final Fantasy 14 guide.
After you have made your new player in FFXIV you will end up in Gridania, Ul'dah, or Limsa Lominsa depending on where you chose to commence. Following the initial cut scene you'll locate yourself within the city's walls with little help. To start your real path one can begin the city's first tutorial quest which will bring you through some regions of the city you selected to begin in. While finding your place takes some time to get used to, the tutorial quests are somewhat clear-cut. Lots of walk-thrus are available for these and can be easily found. The predicament comes about when you try to figure out what you need to do next.
The best way to level is by completing levequests. You can locate leve quests at the Adventurers' Guild in the city you chose to start in. The first quest line will take you right next to them.
Speak to T'mokkri or Piralnaut inside the Drunken Wench in Limsa Lominsa.
At Gridania you will have to speak to Tierney or Gontrant at Carline Canopy.
Speak to Totonawa or Eustace inside the Quicksand if you began in Ul'dah
You can actually only finish eight regional leves each 36 hours presently. Square is considering decreasing this (it had been forty eight hours through Beta).
The trick to leveling fast is always to grab as many leves as possible and travelling to the linked camp to finish them together. However, you do not want to forget about the local levequests - this is how you can really level swiftly. You should be able to complete as many local leves as are obtainable which will result in a whole lot of experience. Often you can pick up just about 6,000 experience for each local levequest.
Local levequests are crafting errands where you must produce particular objects and bring them to the NPC noted in the levequest. In addition to the rewards and experience the best thing about local levequests is that all the resources are provided to you! Meaning you do not have to waste currency leveling your crafting skills or use many hours grinding to boost your physical level.
This Means that once you have linked to the other two city-states you'll be able to carry out dozens of leve quests every 36 hours. Connecting to the other cities is faster and easier than you may think, but you will want detailed maps to get you there.
After you've made it to about level 13 things become a little more demanding and this is when you will want a full guide to level efficiently. You can make it to the level cap within a couple weeks with the proper guides.
